days in Advance of moving:
Send or deliver a written notice to vacate to Sandco Properties at least 20 days prior to the last day of the month you want to move in. Sandco does not pro rate the rent for early move out, so if you move on the 15th of the month, you will still owe for the entire month – Unless Sandco is able to re-rent the home prior to the last day of the month, in which case you will receive a prorated rent refund.
Schedule your move out inspection with Sandco Properties on or before the last day of the month.
Read your move in inspection and determine what you need to do to return the property in like condition (less normal wear and tear) at move out.
To maximize your deposit refund, request a pre-move out inspection. This will let you know exactly what you need to do to receive your deposit back.

Clean
house:. Have a garage sale or donate unwanted items.
RENT
A DUMPSTER to dispose of broken furniture, toys and other junk
Pack
seldom used belongings now to make moving day easier.
Reserve
a moving van well in advance of moving day.
Contact
your insurance agent and revise your renters insurance
Turn
in a change of address form to the Post Office
Contact
your children's schools and arrange transfers.
Contact
cleaning companies for bids (housekeeping, carpets and yard)

your utility companies and make arrangements to have them switched.
You may want to have the new home turned on a day early so you will
have power early on moving day and your old home a day late so they
wont turn them off before you are done cleaning.

Call Sandco and confirm your move out inspection day and time.
Confirm
all reservations (moving van, cleaners, utilities…)
Get
your moving supplies (boxes, tape, markers…)
Label
a box for important items (new lease, prescriptions. bills, checkbook…)
and keep in a safe place.
Pack
and label items that will not be needed this week (additional clothing,
dishes, toys, books, linens…)
